🚯 Littering – Please Respect Our Community
We’ve recently noticed an increase in litter being left in some of our local areas. Whether it’s drink cans, food wrappers, cigarette ends, or bags of rubbish, it doesn’t take long for a small amount of litter to turn into a much bigger problem.
Littering not only makes our neighbourhoods look untidy, but it can also harm wildlife, block drains, and create unnecessary work for those who care about keeping our communities clean.
Please remember:
Dropping litter is an offence and can result in a Fixed Penalty Notice, but more importantly it shows a lack of respect for the place we all live.
Let’s work together to keep our area clean, safe and somewhere we can all be proud of. 🌿
If you see areas that need attention, please report them to Telford and Wrekin Council so that it can be dealt with. You can report via the MyTelford app.
Thank you to everyone who already does their bit. 👍
